This summer, WIN Tutoring combined 1:1 sessions and small-group reading pods to help students stay engaged, supported, and growing.

Our pods were led by three of our trusted educators—Miss Kelly, Miss Lisa, and Miss Sam—each using games, hands-on tools, and multisensory strategies to bring reading to life. While each pod had its own personality, they all followed the same guiding principle: learning should feel joyful and connected.

  • 📖 Miss Kelly brought structure and enthusiasm to every session, helping students build fluency and confidence through movement and repetition.

  • 📚 Miss Lisa layered in thoughtful discussion and stamina-building techniques to help students grow as engaged readers.

  • 🎲 Miss Sam leaned into playful games and creativity, turning reading challenges into wins that felt fun and empowering.

Each pod had 3–5 students, met consistently, and created a safe space for students to grow together.

WIN Tutoring ran over 35 sessions per week this summer between pods and 1:1 instruction—and the progress was easy to see.

“He actually asked to read more at night.”“She felt proud and capable after every session.”

We’d love to carry this momentum into the school year. Let us know if you’re interested in 1:1 or pod-style fall support!
