This summer, WIN Tutoring combined 1:1 sessions and small-group reading pods to help students stay engaged, supported, and growing.
Our pods were led by three of our trusted educators—Miss Kelly, Miss Lisa, and Miss Sam—each using games, hands-on tools, and multisensory strategies to bring reading to life. While each pod had its own personality, they all followed the same guiding principle: learning should feel joyful and connected.
📖 Miss Kelly brought structure and enthusiasm to every session, helping students build fluency and confidence through movement and repetition.
📚 Miss Lisa layered in thoughtful discussion and stamina-building techniques to help students grow as engaged readers.
🎲 Miss Sam leaned into playful games and creativity, turning reading challenges into wins that felt fun and empowering.
Each pod had 3–5 students, met consistently, and created a safe space for students to grow together.
WIN Tutoring ran over 35 sessions per week this summer between pods and 1:1 instruction—and the progress was easy to see.
“He actually asked to read more at night.”“She felt proud and capable after every session.”
