Service Description
Overview: This Summer Literature Lab is designed for rising 6th and 7thww32esq1 graders who want to strengthen reading and writing skills in a fun, supportive group setting. In this summer workshop, students will dive into a selected novel and use it as the foundation for building strong analytical writing skills. Through guided reading, thoughtful discussion, and short, focused writing exercises, students will learn how to identify literary elements, interpret an author's choices, and support their ideas with clear evidence from the text. By the end of the course, students will be well‑prepared for the literature‑based essays and writing assignments they will encounter in middle school, equipped with strategies that make reading deeper and writing stronger. It's important for students to keep their reading and writing skills active over the summer so they return to school confident and ready for the challenges of the new school year.
